Arts Club – Educational Workshops for the Home Education community.  Michelle was home educated as a teenager before going to university and now provides a range of workshops for home educating families and groups.  Workshops available include philosophy, creative writing, English literature, history, sociology and more!  Classes can be adapted to suit ages 5-18 years approximately (university style seminars may be available for teens).  Tutoring for GCSE and A-Level English Literature and Sociology also offered.  Visit the Facebook page for more info and to get in touch.

Stained Glass Museum – Based inside Ely Cathedral, we are the only museum dedicated to the art of stained glass in the country. We have a permanent display of stained glass panels representing over 800 years of history! We offer formal educational programmes for all ages covering a variety of topics which can be adaptable to suit learning needs. DrJoDr Jo Science Solutions – Dr Jo is a research scientist and primary school teacher with more than 10 years experience running hands-on science workshops. Tech-Studio – Cambridge-based technology club for kids aged 8 plus, offering courses in web design, graphic design, scratch coding, multimedia and desktop publishing.  Tailor made courses are available to home educating groups.  Lessons are designed to be enjoyable whilst learning useful lifetime skills in this digital age.  Visit or email for more details or to arrange a taster session.
Fossils Galore – A local charity that provides educational workshops on prehistoric subjects.  Workshops might include hands on fossil talks and fossil hunting activities with fossils to take home.  More in depth talks may be available for older children.  Please visit the website for more info and to get in touch.


A Day in the Past – History themed sessions for pre-school and KS1 children.  Covering Romans/Romano British and Vikings/Saxons/Battle of Hastings.  Bringing history to life through fun activities and crafts as well as lots of hands on opportunities with historical replicas.  Also with quizzes and exercises for older children.  Please visit the website or Facebook page for more info or to get in touch.


German Academy (Kinderclub) – Based in Stamford, offering German language classes to children in the surrounding areas.  Kinderclub is taught in small groups (max. 8 children) by fully qualified teachers who are native German speakers.  Visit for more information.
Spanish with Lu – Spanish tutor for all levels from KS1 through to A level and beyond! Excellent track record with GCSE and A level results, interested in setting up a KS1/KS2 group session for homeschooled children in the South Cambs area. Email for further details or visit


Little Aqua – Local swim school that offers swimming lessons for children of all ages and abilities.  Offering 1:1 or 2:1 lessons across 7 sights in the area, 7 days a week.  Taking pride in getting to know each individual child, allowing them to fully indulge themselves in swimming.  Contact Laura at or visit for more information.

FenlandFenland Home Schooling Support and Tuition – Offering impartial advice and support from qualified tutors with experience of home schooling, flexi schooling and transition to school. Intuition Education Services– Intuition Education Services will provide effective supplementary education to enhance student attainment in key stage 4 (GCSE) science and key stage 5 (AS/A Level) biology.  Visit for more details.

All About Children – A variety of programmes to children and young people in the form of Inamojo Social and Emotional Learning Programme, Mini Me Yoga & Meditation (training available for parents) and Story Massage. These sessions are innovative, creative, fun and are a chance for children and young people to relax, recharge, explore, nurture natural talents and discover new ones. Visit for more information.
CHAMPS Academy – Many young people are being home-schooled due to bullying issues not resolved by the School or parents disillusioned with the School system that puts too much pressure and emphasis on scores and results rather than nurturing the whole child. Because of this many children and teens have low self-esteem and lack confidence. Also parents are concerned their child is not always getting the social skills and experience they need, like they would in the School environment. CHAMPS Academy has been working with Home-Schooling communities to provide workshops and our regular CHAMPS Confidence Club to give them confidence, emotional resilience and life skills.  Email or visit
Daisy First Aid – First aid classes both for parents and children. Covering subjects including CPR, recovery position, choking, fever, head injuries, bleeds, burns and more. Helping Little Hands Learn – Providing a range of support and services to families with children with additional needs or disabilities which can be seen on the website, but is not exclusive to this.  Currently managing a home education program, planning lessons, topics, outings, training staff, etc.  visit or email for more details.
Relaxation and massage – Nikki Sweeney provides workshops in various relaxation techniques for children, encouraging them to use their senses in a fun, educational and interactive way.  Within these group or individual sessions children are guided by their innate love for the natural world and exploring.  She also runs story massage sessions.  Contact Nikki at for more information.
